DORA Board Mandate

Under Article 5 of DORA, the management body (i.e. the Board and senior management) is required to possess and maintain sufficient knowledge, skills, and understanding to oversee digital operational resilience, including ICT risk and third-party dependencies.

This course supports Credit Union Boards in meeting those expectations through structured, role-appropriate education and evidence of ongoing competence.

Course Overview

CDBM-CU is a concise, board-focused training programme designed specifically for Credit Union Board Members and senior leadership who must meet their obligations under the EU Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).

Delivered 100% online and built for busy volunteer boards, the course explains DORA in plain English and focuses squarely on what regulators expect from Boards — not operational or technical detail.

Participants gain the clarity and confidence needed to provide effective ICT risk oversight, challenge management appropriately, and demonstrate defensible Board-level governance in line with supervisory expectations.

Successful completion includes structured knowledge checks and a downloadable certificate and CPD-ready training record, suitable for retention in Board and governance files.
