HOW DO I LEARN?
Learning Structure:
1. Weekly Modules:
- Duration: 12 weeks
- New Module Release: Every Thursday
- Content: On demand approximately 1-2 hours of HD video training material, fully captioned covering the module topic.
- Accompaniment: Any relevant supporting documents
2. LIVE Instructor-Led Training (ILT) Sessions:
- When: Every Tuesday
- Duration: 1 hour
- Format: Live Zoom sessions with the head tutor
- Purpose: Interact with peers, ask questions, and get clarifications.
- NOTE: These sessions are recorded and available for on demand revision or viewing for those students that are not able to make the scheduled time.
3. Online Exams:
- Frequency: Weekly
- Format: 50 multiple choice questions (MCQs)
- Resources: Open book; answers available in the online training materials.
- NOTE: The objective of the exams is to ensure students have covered the content of the module.
4. Written Assignments:
- Frequency: Bi-Weekly
- Content: Apply knowledge to practical scenarios
- Examples: Crafting memos to the board, requesting budgets for initiatives
- NOTE: The objective of the short written assignments is to make sure students can apply the knowledge gained in a real world context. Each student receives direct feedback from the tutor.
5. Training Materials:
- Format: On-demand videos, PDF's and Live sessions via Zoom
- AI Tool: Access our Generative AI Interactive Tool to help with learning and developing your knowledge around related subjects.
6. Submission Deadlines:
- Exams and Assignments: Due by Wednesday each week
7. Passing Criteria:
- Average Score: 80% across all exams and assignments
- Note: There are 12 Exams and 6 Short Written Assignments during the course.
